The Great Library

"Hello Will!" Ace called out to the man whom he had seen entering the Library. "What'cha got there?"

Will heard Ace call out his name from across the library, in dispare over how many people coulda heard him. He walked over to Ace.

"I thought I was Sir William, Ace. and I have a book on firebirds. I always read story's of em, so I wanted to learn more about them ^^"

Ace snatched the book out of Will's hands and eyed him. "Interesting. You just so happened to have a book on Firebirds? That was the very book I needed. What amazing coincidences exist, eh? Must be fate."

"Must be. But I thought you would be here to find a book on that language you were talking about when we first meet. You know, hit on those girls?"

Will couldn't believe he was saying all that

Ace shook his head and continued to watch Will. "Another time, perhaps. I have been asked to do something else by someone very important."

"And what would that be?"

Will was worried where this was going

Ace didn't answer as he looked through the book. "Interesting specimen, this bird. And they were said to be extinct, too."

Ace looked up at Will. "Sorry, can't tell you. You've kept plenty secret from me so do excuse me if I am not as responsive to your own request."

Will crossed his arms.

"I just figured I'd ask. To be honest, I didn't expect a answer. I just think it has something to do with firebirds, since your after that book"

"Of course. But as you know, they're extinct." Ace said. "See ya around, Will."

[Ace exits the Library with the book]

Will was worried that if Durin was discovered, that he and Ace might become enemies. He would let no one have Durin. NO ONE. He quickly left the Library and headed back to the store.

Keixth entered the great library with much curiosity and awed at the site.

He than walks up to the booth and asked the nice lady with glasses in the middle where the alchemy books are located.

"uhm excuse me miss, where are the alchemy books?" Keixth asked

"on the that corner and turn right" said the lady.

"ohh okay i got it" Keixth walked towards the left and turned left again.

He browsed through the series of books infront of him.
"these aren't alchemy books".

"i think i'm lost again"

Zane saw a young lad in military garb seemingly lost. He shrugged, not his problem.

He fixed his cap, and rolled the sleeves down of his polo. Seeing military uniforms didn't make him nostalgic. He found it amusing that he used to wear such, and how stifling they were.

He was about to leave when he remembered he needed to find an alchemy book. He walked towards the direction of the young lad.

"now what did that nice lady told me. . go right then turn left? no no no on the corner then turn left?" Keixth sighed. . . hoping we would remember or someone would help him.

"this sucks. . . .I needed those alchemy books. ."
He looked around the library and thought that some of these books can be alchemy books. . but i can't waste my time searching the whole place. .

"this is very troublesome"

Zane overheard the military dude grumbling about being lost and finding alchemy books. He sighed to himself. I'll be nice for a change.

He grabbed the young lad's arm and dragged him upstairs. "Alchemy books are this way."

Keixth was shocked as an unknown person began dragging him and guiding him to the alchemy book section. *wow what a nice way to approach a person and help them* he thought.

"well thanks for the help whoever you are. . . I'm Keixth! nice to meet you bud!" He smiled at the person.

though he sense some annoyance coming from him and said " oh and sorry for the trouble. . I usually end up lost. . well. . not usually" He laughed and began scratching his cheek.

"Nice to meet you, Keixth," he said and smiled back slightly. "Are you new to the military base?"

He grabbed a random book and flipped it. Not this one.

"Ah," he glanced momentarily at the kid. "No troubles."
But he had to look back when one thing clicked on his mind.

"What do you mean you usually end up lost? Just at new places you've been to, right?"

Keixth was browsing to one book to another hoping to find the books he was looking for.
"May i know the name of my new friend then?" he smiled back to the stranger.
" erm. ." He nervously looked at the floor and said "actually. . . . I do end up getting lost. . and no. . i end up lost all the time. . soo yeah" He laughed again.

End up lost all the time? He couldn't believe someone could be that poor with directions. All other things Keixth said didn't seem as important as this fact. "You're shitting me, right?"

He laughed at his statement. . "my dear friend I am not "shitting" you." as he quoted the word. "and you forgot to mention your name it's okay if you dont say it i'll just give you a nickname" he smiled at the stranger.

He picks up a book by the top shelf and sat at the ladder.
Still browsing.

"That's such an inconvenience then," Zane said. He had no intentions of telling his name. Keixth was new, he didn't know him but he didn't want him accidentally blurting his name in front of his superiors.
He was kind of hiding from them. They kept barraging him with requests but he had other things he needed to do first.

He took another book from the other side of the shelf. "Nickname, hm?" Zane was almost amused. "What do you have in mind, military boy?"

Keixth laughed. . "yeah i know. . . but sometimes its fun. . hahaha you get to explore new things. It's the only thrill that i have in life. . everything is just plain". With two books in his hands he still looks for some alchemy books. Browsing and flipping through pages.

"yeah. . I'm sensing you're hiding something. . but that doesn't bother me. . everyone has they're own secrets to hide" He smiled at the stranger beside him.

"hmm. . well i'm still thinking about a nickname for ya bud" wondering what nickname would he give his new friend.

Zane raised a brow at his logic but shrugged his shoulders. "I suppose I see what you're saying," he flipped another book like the other. Tch, not this one either. "It comes with being in the military, that kind of life."

He took another book. "Ah," he smirked, not moving from his position nor looking at Keixth. "Smart kid."

Zane took out another book. "Take your time."

Keixth took the book below and piled up the books he gathered in his right side.

" yeah. . . I'm still looking for some action though. . I want to make the most out of everything" He laughed thinking that kind of dream.

" I should call you mr. serious, hahaha such a weird name right? well there's much more weirder name than that. I saw a frog named OMNOM. . . now that's weird. . " Keixth then remembered that frog along with miss resha.

Tosh walked in the Library, somewhat stumbling as she did. She still had injuries from the other night, the large blood loss didn't help at all with her healing. "Hmm..." Tosh said looking around the place. She has not been here before and therefore wanted to explore some. Tosh smiled a bit.

"Hm," Zane almost laughed. "Action, huh? You're in the military. But it's good to find other ways."

Zane stopped at his tracks, letting go of the book on his hand when the name Omnom was mentioned. "Wha-what? Did you say Omnom?"

Why the hell does he know that?
