The Great Library

Zane laughed to himself. How amusing, he thought.

"Of course you will," he said, as he looked down to where she is. But left to another place, still on top of the bookshelf.

"ZA-!" Amelia was about to shout his name, but remembered that she was in a library. "Zane...." she whispered and brought a chair. She stood on the chair and tried to look over a shelf.

Zane was able to move to the other side, and he watched with great amusement when she took a chair to add leverage. He smiled, he had enough fun. He thought he should stop teasing her so much. So he jumped down, behind her.

He took her by the waist and placed her down from the chair. "That was fun," he said, knowing for sure she'd be mad at him.

Amelia was so concentrated that she didnt notice when Zane jumped down behinde her. "Whoa!" She got surprised when he placed her down from the chair. "hey, who gave you the permission to sneak up behinde me?" She poked him on the chest and glared at him.

Zane laughed at her antics. "I did," he pat her head and pushed her gently forward. "Come on, let's get coffee."

But he ended up pulling her by the wrist again.

Amelia rolled her eyes. "really Zane... youre definitely something special." She followed him and smiled.

He laughed slightly as he led her to the small cafe in the library. "Of course I am," he said and brought her to the coffee machine.

"Go get some coffee," he smiled.

"thank you." she went up to the counter and ordered two cups of coffee.

Amelia handed tone of the coffees to Zane. "here. as a thanks for making my day a little bit brighter... well... it was bright until you began to jump on the shelves." She grinned ans took a sip of the coffee.

He took it with a smile and a soft thanks. "Well, it was fun," he said. "But thanks for the company. It was nice."

He drank the coffee and patted her head. "Still working on your alchemy?"

"np. im glad i was able to amuse you." She smiled and started to walk back to the table.

"hah, dont treat me like a kid Zane. and yes, im thinking about going to that book store sometime. hopefully i will find something that will be useful." she smiled. "mabye you want to come with me?"

He followed her wordlessly. "Always fun to tease you," he said, drinking more of the coffee.

He smiled. "Can't help it if you act like a kid," he said and finished his coffee. "But sure. Bookstore, hm? Are you talking about Rei's bookstore?" Well, that's the only one I know of anyway.

she turned around rally fast. "so you do it on purpose?" She put her hands on her hips. "you are really mean sometimes." she turned arounf fast and continued to walk. "hmpf.."

She pretended like she didnt heard that. "yeah, thats the bookstore im talking about." she smiled and drank all of her coffee. "hm.. lets meet up outside it tomorrow? i expect to see you there!" Amelia went back to the table and put on her shoes, then she walked to the door and picked up the jacket. She folded it and put it under her arm. "see ya there zane!" She left the library with a smile on her lips.

Zane blinked. "Okay?" but she was gone before she even let him reply. He smiled to himself. Kids these days.

He went back to his previous table and slept.

Emi skipped into the library and spun around as she tried to take in the area around her. "Books! Yays!" She then began to look for something to read.

Kotaro entered the library, carrying a large bag. "Garsher published a theory of copying DNA and it was last seen in here. Maybe if I can find it, I could destroy it before the military or resistance gets to it." Kotaro looked around. The library was huge, dark, foreboding. He frowned. "It's like God gets pleasure out of making my life a living hell." He began to browse the books, looking for Garsher's last name on the decimal line.

Kyte walked in and noticed Kotaro looking for something. "hey do you need help looking for something?" he asked Kotaro

Kotaro glanced at Kyte. “A book. Written by Garsher.”

"well you won't find it up here i read some of his documents at his lab and he said he had hid it in a secret area here in the library." Kyte told Kotaro then used his earth alchemy to try to find the secret door but with no luck. "He must of used alchemy to make sure no one could find it easily."

“Strange, he couldn't use alchemy.” Kotaro began to place his hands on the wall, feeling for something.

"Exactly that's my point which means someone knows where it is!" Kyte said helping look for something

“Everyone he knew or worked with is dead. His bos, his boy his wife..” Kotaro suddenly stopped. “Sorry about Aura.”

"Yeah thanks i guess it's easier for me since i thought she had died two years ago." Kyte said to Kotaro.

Kotaro closed his eyes. “Your repressing arent you? Thats not healthy.”

"I don't even know any more all i know is that once i get more people to help me invade the south base i will kill the man who ordered the attack." Kyte said he then found a lever behind a book and pulled it

The library glowed with light. “Well, we found the light swtch.”
