Military Medical Base

Dante stood there, gun still pointed where the clones head had been, his face covered by it's blood. The cut began to burn greatly but he paid no mind to it. It was as if he had frozen in place.

Tosh had saw a room and suddenly heard a gunshot. Worried what happened, she ran inside and eyes widened when she saw Kotaro shot the clone, not knowing it isn't the real Resha.

Resha started hyperventilating. "This is... this is..." she couldn't stop the tears and looked at Tosh, not being able to say a thing.

Dante's hands went limp and he dropped the gun and sword. He fell to his knees, a blank expression and stare plastered on his face.

Tosh, not at all sure what was going on walked forward a bit but stopped, staring back at the clone Resha then looked at Kotaro, who was still. "Kotaro....?" she said as a whisper.

Resha snapped out of it as Kotaro dropped, tears still streaming and tried to look for any severe wounds. There was none but there was a small cut. She looked at it and shook her head. "Poison! A real strong one!"

Tosh was shocked when she saw the real Resha rush to Kotaro's aid but puts it to the back of her mind. "Poison??" Tosh asked her.

Dante heard nothing. His gazed was fixed on the clone. It looked to much like Resha. To much like her. He felt nothing more in his body. He fell back onto the floor, his eyes open and blank of any expression.

The doctor rushed to their side and showed Resha a syringe. "This will slow down the poison, so go make the remedy now!" she said. "I'll take hold of his vital signs."

She quickly knelt down and injected the serum in him. "Don't die, you." She looked at Toshi. "Help me put him in a bed."

"Kotaro!!" she exclaimed, too scared and fearing the worst, she started to cry, her heart racing.

Tosj shook some and nodded slowly, picking up Kotaro carefully and put picked up Kotaro carefully, not minding the weight. She walked out and set him down into another room's bed, hoping he gets better.

Dante's stare was completely lifeless. His body completely limp. A foam started to come from his mouth.

Resha nodded as she quickly went to make a remedy. It was difficult; the poison was new and consisted of different kinds, that normally would class and dilute. "This is tough," she murmured to herself, still shaken from the fact she saw herself dead.

She suck in a big mouthful of air when she left the table and approached the dead clone. She looked at it a few seconds before taking the scalpel in her hand. Quickly running back to make the remedy again.

The doctor took his vital signs, injected other anti-poison things in him, to keep him alive. "Don't die, you idiot!"

Tosh's eyes widened as she fell to her knees, covering her mouth. She wept to herself, squeezing Kotaro's hand. "Don't die....!!" she whispered to herself.

Dante's body started to jerk around on the bed.

So soon you come again?

Dante was back in the vast whiteness, the gate in front of him and his outline in front of him.

You come here more then anyone else you know that?

Dante sighed.

It's still not yet your time buddy. But lets see what happens before we rush things.

Resha's hands were shaking but she tried her best to steady them. She can't fail now. She analyzed the remedy, and she thought - if the clone hadn't died, she probably would've saved Kotaro - but she was the one who inflicted the poison. But then again, it was them who wanted to kill her so self defense was normal, right?

She shook her head. "Have to focus," she said as she conducted more tests.

Tosh thought about something as she took out a green seed. She stood up and put the seed over Kotaro's tongue as she broke it in two, the powder inside spilling over his tongue and quickly dissolving into his bloodstream, healing any damage the poison might have caused for now.

Tosh stared down at Kotaro's lifeless and still expression. She sat down by his bed side, crying.

Well, that bought you a bit more time. Smart girl.

Dante looked at the gate.

Maybe they will save you.

A wide grin broke out on the outline.

You may live some more.

Dante's body stopped thrashing but still was motionless.

Tosh saw this and sighed to herself that it brought more time.

Resha blinked. The poison really was weird but somehow, in her flurry of panic and rush, she was able to make the right remedy. She tested it out and the poison disappeared. She smiled brightly, relieved that it was done.

She took it with a syringe and rushed to where Kotaro, the doctor and Tosh was. The doctor was in deep conversation in the phone and Kotaro seemed to have stabled. "Tosh," she called out, her voice hoarse. "Sorry, but," she walked over to Kotaro. "Here's the remedy." And she injected it.

Well well well, looks like they made it in time. Your going back.

A wide grin spread on the outline.

But is that such a good thing?

Dante's eyes closed and his breathing returned to normal. The color returned to his face.

Tosh was so filled with relief that the remedy worked. She hugged Resha very tightly, saying "You did it." she said feeling proud for her friend.

Zane stood in front of the base, all the guards dead. He was rather pissed off.

She laughed. "We all did it, all our best," she said. "I hope he gets well," she said.

"It's good you're here with him," she told Toshi.

Dante's eyes fluttered open. He looked around to see where he was.

Tosh nodded to Resha at what she said. Tosh smiles widely.

SHe noticed Kotaro opened his eyes and hugged him quickly. "Kotaro!!" she exclaimed.
