Kotaro's parents cottage

He laughs slightly "Well that don't seem tyhat bad" He looks up to the sky "The more you take down then that will be that many less chasing you"

"I'm not killing anyone Kinai." Kotaro heard a sound coming from the front of the house. He walked to the front door and looked over the land surrounding his house. "Just great." Multiple military trucks and alchemists were approaching him.

Kinai hears the familiar sounds of the military trucks "So..What are you going to do?" He asks

“Get yourself and Dwryin outta here.” Kotaro stepped toward the trucks, soldiers already pouring out. “I need to lead them away from here.”

He sighs and says in a sarcastic way "Dang you get all the fun"

Kotaro looked at Kinai, one eyebrow raised. “So being chased by the military, your friends in the military, being shot at, AND having to fight those who helped, saved and respected you is your idea of fun.” Kotaro looked bback at the trucks. 4 men were approaching them. One had a long gauntlet with large claws on his right arm. Another had a strange device on his back resembling a hammer. The other two looked alike, but one used a sword and the other two knives. “They sent all 4 of them?” A look of anger came over Kotaro. “They sent my friends from when I was a state alchemist. They know I wont kill them, but they wont kill me. The bear claw, Crystal hammer, Red Katana and Blue Kunai alchemists. My old squad.”

Kinai smiles as he puts his hood up and wearing his old resistance armour but hiding the patch. He approaches the four men. "..." he says nothing as he stops a few yards in front of them, and he still has the dagger concealed in his sleeve from earlier.

The bear claw alchemist, Jernal Yuuy, approached Kinai. “Hey, tell Kotaro to head west. There is a small convoy of trucks there. We're getting him outta here.”

Kotaro ran up to the group. “Damn it Kinai, you have to make everything violent.” He took out Godai and stood next to Kinai. “Don't make me hurt you. I hate fighting old friends.”

Jernal shushed Kotaro. “Quiet! We are getting you outta here.”

Kotaro gave a quizical look.

“We know everything Kotaro.” The hooded one with a hammer spoke up, revealing itself as a female. “It pissed us off. Killing you just to test a project... It's barbaric!” Jernal stepped up. “To the west there is a small convoy of our old battalion there, still loyal to us, espeasially you.”

Kotaro stared at them, then at Kinai. “I'm going.”

He calms down as he asks "By yourself or what?"

“Feel free to come with. Just don't get swingy on my friends.” Kotaro followed his former squad. “Get Dwryin first. We can't leave her to the military.”

He frowns "Do you really think ity best for me to be in charge of her?"

"I didn't say force her to follow, just tell her she may stand a better chance of surviving if she comes with us." Kotaro looked at Jernal. "What about your family Jernal? They will arrest them for this." Jernal shook his head. "They died a while ago Kotaro." Kotaro shook his head. "I'm sorry. Lets go."

Kinai turns to dwvryn. "You coming" After finishing the sentence he turns to kotaro "So the military will be coming through herre?" He thinks for A moment "How many do you thiunk it will be?"

One of the twins answered him. "They brought 2 battalions. In case you don't know, that's 2000 armed men." Kotaro gave a start of surprise. "Why so many? Surly this is overdoing it?" The other twin answered. "They labeled you as a thief and a murderer. That gives them a reason to send so many. They don't want this getting out."

A wicked grin creeps across his face. "So where are yall hjeaded?"

The female turned toward him. "There was an old fort in Aerugo we were based at. Only one way in, multiple ways to get out. Heavily reinforced and armed. It was abandoned but the weapons, equipment and power is still there. Us along with 500 men from our old battalion can easily hold off a large army." Kotaro stepped forward. "Sivena, are you sure about that?" Sivena smirked at him. "We held it off against a highly organized party of deserters from the military. WITH only 100 men. It is the best place we got." Kotaro nodded. "Alright, Kinai, We'll go ahead. I want you to trail back a bit to cover our tracks and sever some of the soldiers. If Dwryin is coming, she could come with us or help you."

"That sounds fine to me" He agrees "Which direction are they coming in so I can suprise them?"

Jernal pointed north and east. "They are coming around this area, they were hoping to trap him between them and the forest." Sivena put a hand on Kotaro's shoulder. "Time to go." She looked at Kinai. "Stay alive and may the wind carry you." Kotaro and his squad began to head toward the convoy.

I will spit their forces up He thought to himselfr "Yes, may your journey be safe as well" He says to sivena as he heads north first torwards the first group.

(I'm leaving Jernal with you then. That way Kotaro isn't directly in the fight and you can RP)

Jernal stopped. "I'm gonna help that guy. No way he can take on 2 battalions by himself." Kotaro nodded as they entered the trucks.

(yea you can do that. all you had to do was play the soldiers but it straight)
He stops because he heard the man "Are you sure?" he asks

Jernal nodded,grinning as he raised his clawed gauntlet. "I need to pay these guys back anyway. They took my house after I bought it and turned it into a barracks."

The soldiers began to appear from the treeline to the north and east. They carried an arrangement of weapons to rifles to explosives.

Kinai laughs "I take one group and you get the other?" He asks as he approiaches the group from the north and stops about 50 yeards from them as he unsheaths his widesword "It has been awhile since i used this sword"

"Sounds good to me." He said moving to the east. "1000 each. Nah, were just here to cover there tracks. But a few casualties couldn't hurt." He said with a grin.

The soldiers stopeed at the sight of the 2 armed men approaching them. A shout was heard and they raised their weapons.
