Open Clearing

Tosh kept flipping a cookie up in down in her hand, waiting patiently for a member of the Resistance to come. They needed to discuss something important. Very important. So was able to escape the bookstore, not like she was being held hostage or prisoner. But she didn't want to awake her new workmates. She looked around at the empty and clear opening, making sure no one was around.

Emi skipped through the clearing, glancing around from time to time as if looking for something. Her eyes stopped when they landed one someone, and she smiled waving frantically as she ran over.

Tosh turned around to the happy girl and waved back at her, throwing the cookie in the air and catching it in her mouth. She munched on cookie, before swallowing and wiping her mouth free of crumbs. " 'Sup, you're part of the Resistance, right?" Tosh asked.

Emi came to a halt in front of the girl that stood before her. "Mhm, yeps! Me is!" She replied quickly, making sure to finish it with a twirl before standing with a huge smile across her face.

"Huh! I like your spirit and spunk!" Tosh commented patting Emi on her shoulder. "What's your name?" she finally asked.

"Thanks yous, and my name is Emi! The one and only! Hehe." Emi was still standing still at this point but her voice was interrupted with many short giggles, she looked at Tosh and waited to see if she had a name.

"Well, My name is Toshii! Tosh, is what you can call me though~" Tosh wearing her trademark grin. She took out a small bag from her pouch opening it up revealing chocolate chip cookies. "You want one?"

"M'kies, and yes please, please, please!" Emi started squealing at the end of her sentence, and then began to jump around on the spot with her hands held out.

Tosh gave Emi a few cookies before swallows the rest of the cookies. She rubbed her stomach, feeling only a bit full. "Alright so down to business!"

"Thank yous so much!" Emi replied before nibbling on one of the cookies. "Yummies! But yeah, business!" She continued to chew on the cookie but was giving Tosh her full attention.

"Alright, there is a military person around these parts." Tosh started, still scanning the area of any eavesdroppers.

"There is?!" Emi's voice became a soft whisper as she glanced around the area.

"Yes, his name is Destinykil, going by the name of Des. Be weary around him." Tosh said warning Emi. She wasn't uncomfortable around Des, and finds it fun to play with him but isn't too trusting eiher.

"Right, got it, yeps! Hmmm, but how will I know it is him?" Emi was still rather quiet but the cheeriness never left her voice as she stared straight at Tosh.

Tosh sighs as she tries to remember what Des looked like. It never really crossed her mind but there was a few things that did make her remember his face. "Alright, he was short dark brown hair, a beard and he's very muscular." Tosh described, still trying to piece together what else she had. "Oh yeah, and a fully automatic gun."

"Ohhh, gun, hehe! Right, I got it. I shall remember to keep a look out for him, mhm."Emi's voice returned to it's normal volume as she quickly memorized the facts she had been given.

"Good good. But I don't think he's with Meyer's plans so don't mistake him for a bad guy." Tosh looked up at the sky, pondering.

"Hmmm, m'kies! I won't." Emi tilted her head towards the sky before allowing herself to fall back on the ground beneath her. "Yays, hehe"

Tosh chuckles before looking all around wondering what to do now. Go back to the bookstore? Maybe. "Alright, I'm going to be heading back where I somewhat live for the moment, Nice to meet you Emi!" Tosh said before tossing Emi a bag of cookies, slipping on her black fingerless glove.

"Oh! M'kay! Byes Tosh, it was awesomes to meet yous! Yays!" Emi then saw the bag of cookies that had landed beside her and scrambled over to collect them. "Sooo yummies! Thank yous!"

"No problem! Enjoy em!" Tosh shouted over at her happily before clapping her hands together, the wind gusting in around her before as she slowly lifts into the air and glides away.

"Haha, I shall!" Emi replied as she jumped onto her feet and began waving her hands frantically at the leaving Tosh. "Byes!"

Emi sat in the centre of the clearing and held a book in one hand while the other was tracing alchemy circles in the dirt. "Hmmm, it is peaceful here, hehe!" She placed her fingers on the circle and watched as the ground became covered in a sheet of ice. "Yays!"

Tosh poked her head from the trees, watching Emi practice her alchemy in peace. She is interested in what she is doing. "Ooooooh, looks cool~" she said sitting back."

Emi looked down to the ice below her then frowned as she saw that it had already began to crack. "Hmm, I shall try again, yesh!" With that Emi repeated drawing the circle then allowed the ice to once again cover the ground.
