"I... I..." she didn't know why she was suddenly faltering. "I... don't," she sighed. "But, in the event that we don't get back together, it'd be nice if you'd give her a chance."

Alpha's mouth hung open for a minute. He snapped it shut and sighed. "Well, I don't know what to do." He scratched the back of his head. "I mean, I'm a little surprised you would suggest that, and also I'm still thinking about what I should do."

"Hey, I'm not sure either why I'm saying all these," she said seeing the confused expression of Alpha. "It's all right to think about it; just don't spend too long thinking and lose everyone. Theta really likes you." Uhm, yeah, what the hell am I saying? She hit her head with her palm.

"Well if your not sure then why are you saying them?" He said shaking his head. "It's not an easy thing to think over." He saw her hit her head. "A little confused?"

"Yeah, really confused," she said. "I'm not sure why I'm saying all these all of a sudden," she shook her head, looking down, hoping the ground would help her make sense of things. "And no kidding, this thinking is serious business."

Alpha looked seriously at her. "Maybe you want Theta to be happy even if it upsets you." He said. "No kidding."

Media smiled. "Maybe. Hopefully, I am. At the very least, I'd be doing something good for the first time," she kicked the ground lightly. "I can't believe I'm talking to you about something so serious in a changing tent. Haha~"

Alpha looked up and raised an eyebrow. "You always do good Media." He shook his head. "And it is very weird."

Theta had been listening in the whole time. She gasped when Media had suggested Alpha make her happy. "Oh.."

"Not always," she grinned. "Like the time I threw a certain someone out a speeding car out of uncontrollable temper."

Media looked at him. "But seriously, think about it. Theta and you," she said. "It's not a bad prospect. And if you realize you really like her, I don't want you to hold back just because of my feelings, all right?"

He waved his hand. "Oh that wasn't much. I actually thought it was kind of funny."

He sighed. "I don't know Media. I know she likes me and I do care for her. But is more like a family thing. Like how I thought of you before we started to date."

"You weirdo, you broke up with me because of that," she said looking at him funny. "So that's not really right in context now, isn't it?"

She nodded. "Just think about it. If you thought of that way about me before we dated, there's a possibility of that happening to you and Theta too, right?"

"No I guess its not." He said shaking his head."

Alpha sighed. "Maybe. But I want to make sure your sure about this." He said looking toward the entrance.

Theta backed away from the tent and sighed. "Media."

She grinned. "I thought so."

Media spoke. "It's not like I can be fully a hundred percent sure. I can't lie about how I feel but though I seem to bully Theta a lot, I want her to be happy too. I had my chance and I lost it - and what's up, looking at the entrance like that?"

Alpha sighed. "Well, you wonder why she looks up to you, there you go." He looked at the entrance. "Theta, stop spying and get in here."

Theta slowly walked into the tent. "Sorry."

She took a step back. "I completely forgot... you're a cat," she said looking at her ears; she definitely had enhanced hearing. She ended up sighing. "Great. How embarrassing."

Alpha nodded. "I knew she was listening in the whole time. I just wanted her to hear you say that you want her to be happy."

Theta looked up. "Media....I..."

"Wow, Alpha," she glared at him. "You know how embarrassing this is for me?" she shook her head.

Holding her hand up to make her stop from talking, she cut in. "Theta, it's embarrassing so don't make me repeat it. You deserve to be happy," Media kept her eyes closed. "You're right. I had my chance. Here's yours. I'm not going to be an obstacle. Good luck."

"If she didn't hear you say it now, she probably never would." Alpha said.

"But, Media...." Theta looked up. "Thanks." She looked down again.

Media rolled her eyes at Alpha. "Well, it's not like we can do a thing about it anymore, hmm??"

She looked at the two of them. "Why so gloomy, Theta? I wanted you to be happy not sad like this," she said.

Alpha smiled. "Good, now I'll leave you two alone." He said walking out.

Theta shook her head. "I am happy, but....why did you say that? I mean.....We always fought over him and now your....."

"Theta," she said. "Can you keep a secret?"

Theta looked up. "What?"

She motioned for her to walk closer to her and when Theta did, she whispered. I might be dying soon.

"But that's a secret," she said. "All right?"

Theta's eyes widened and she looked at Media with a grave expression. What? Dying? She whispered back. No...

"It's just a might," she said. "The probability is rather high though, so I'm not hoping much. Of course, I'd be grateful to get out of that alive, doesn't matter if it's barely or not."
