Central streets

Tosh blushed and hugged him as well, but felt something wiggle in his jacket. Her face went pale.

Dante saw her face and frowned. "You alright?"

"There's something in your jacket...." she said a bit gravely.

Dante stepped back and opened up his jacket. "I don't see anything." He took it off and searched the pockets when he felt something shock him. "Ahh!" He dropped the jacket and clutched his hand, now bleeding.

"Kotaro!" she exclaimed and kicked away the jacket, pulling on her glove.

As Tosh kicked the jacket, a large tentacle fell out, landing on the floor. It suddenly began to grow. When it reached a certain growth, it split in half, and continued to do so.

Dante looked at the growing number of tentacles in disbelief. "It can't be."

Tosh stared helplessly as the tentacles spawned. "It's..Lock!!" she said, backing up.

The tentacles began to form the all too familiar humanoid shape before taking Dante's form.

"No wonder they couldn't kill it! As long as theres a single particle he can just come back! Even an explosion didn't work!"

"Damn it...." Tosh said, getting on her guard, not letting it try to manipulate her again.

"Now then," Lock smiled. "Where were we? Ah yes, you were huddled in fear."

Dante gritted his teeth. "Tosh, there are civilians here."

"We can't fight this things here in an alley...." she added as well, summoning Hurricane Fang with a transmutation circle.

Lock was slowly approaching them.

"I have an idea." He ran out in the street and took out Zero, firing into the air. "Get the hell away or I'll kill you all! The people in the street started to panic and leave the street.

"Good Idea Kotaro!" She ran out into the streets as well, swinging around Hurricane Fang. "I'll gut you like a fish as well!" she said sweatdropping.

"My my, nice personalities." Lock said sarcastically, still approaching.

Dante turned to Lock. "I'll destroy you here once and for all."

Tosh got onto the defensive, ready to fight once the streets were cleared.

Lock laughed. "And just how will you do that?"

Dante glared at him.

"Don't let him get to you.." Tosh said to Dante.

"Listen to the girl, after all you stand no chance."

"Want to bet!" Dante gritted his teeth

"Calm down!" Tosh said, worried that Dante will lose his cool. "Please, That's just what he wants! He wants to lure you in to consume you!" she said.

"The girl is pretty smart."

Dante tried to calm down.

Tosh sighed, thinking of some plan to beat this thing.

Lock suddenly rushed Tosh, a gun made of tentacles forming in his hand. "Die!"

"Tosh!" Dante took out Slyde and jumped in front of her, getting knocked to the ground by Locks momentum.

Tosh grabbed Lock's arm as she slammed him into the ground and kicks him away, getting in front of Dante.

Lock suddenly changed its form into Tosh. It then made an exact copy of hurrican fang. "Nice try."

Dante rushed p and stabbed through the fake Tosh, ripping Lock open. But Lock just reformed.

Tosh followed behind Dante, slashing Lock across its chest.
