Renee's little hideaway

"Imagination?" Renee asked. "How will this work? :O"

Dante knew if he tried to explain, she wouldn't get it. "Try to imagine yourself in a grassy plain." He placed his palm on her head. As he did this, he took out the soul stone.

Renee closed her eyes and did just that. She was barefoot, the grass tickling her feet as she walked around.

Dante closed his eyes and the soul stone glowed. He suddenly found himself in the grassy plain Renee was imagining. "Renee, look over here."

Renee turned her head and looked at someone standing over in that direction. She couldn't really make him out.

"Who's there?"

Dante walked closer so she could see him. "It's brother." He looked around. "You did well."

Resha watched from the sides at Kotaro's attempts. If it worked, the better.

Renee was surprised that Kotaro was in her thoughts. She didn't even think him up.

"You think so?"

Renee looked around at the grassy field she thought up.

"Better then anything I could think up." He smiled at her. "Now, I want you to imagine a door, the door should have a name on it. One of ours."

She kept quiet, not wanting to disturb~

"Ummm.... uh........"

Renee thought up a door with her name on it. It just stood there in the field

"Thats good." He nodded. "That door is the thing I want you to bear with Renee, there will be something behind it, something that will scare you to try and send you away." It was always a fear that blocked memories. It always took a solid form and tried to stop you from remembering.

She was thinking. A therapy using imagination? She didn't know how that worked but it was worth a shot so she moved back to the other room with the scientist.

Renee walked to the door, and tapped on it. She then slowly opened it, finding a field of grass again, exactly the same. She walked around it, looking at Kotaro in confusion. When she walked through it, she looked around.

She couldn't see Kotaro anymore.

Dante watched as Renee walked through the door. She had to face her fear alone. But Dante started counting. If he got to 200 and she hadn't come back, he would run in after her.

"Do you think this will work?" Resha asked in a hushed voice, the scientist looking at documents.

"Who knows? We should still take our chances."

Resha nodded. "Yes, still..."

"Your offer is still open, yes?" the scientist asked.

Renee walked around. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

She soon began to see people, but none of them were familiar to her. She began to look for Kotaro, the background turning into that of a city. "Brother?"

"50.........60..........70"

Dante kept counting.

"My offer?" she asked again.

No matter how she searched, she found no one she knew. The people around her were nothing but obstructions. She found someone though. Someone was on the ground, covered in blood in a alley. She ran up and looked at it.

it looked like Resha.

"140..........150..........160"

Tosh walked around the area but accidentally bumps into the door, breaking it down. She shook her head confused before walking in.

"If that fails..." the scientist looked at Kotaro and Renee. "We'll push through with your initial plan."

Resha blinked. "Oh. You're talking about the brain transplant - well, the neurons, anyway."

Renee heard a yell behind her. She turned around to see Toshii being shot by a military officer, and dying right on the spot. She ran up to her, the officers now dealing with Kotaro, who challenged them out of rage. They quickly killed him too. Before she knew it, she was surrounded by bodies, each one looked like each of her friends.

"They're...... all gone..... I couldn't help them......."

She fell to her hands and knees as she begun to cry.

"Im so helpless..... I couldn't save even one......."

"200" Dante ran up to the door and pulled it open. He saw a large city behind the door. He looked ahead of him, seeing Renee on the floor surrounded by dead bodies. One of which was himself. She fears losing us.

"Renee! Fight your fear! Don't let it conquer you!"
