"I see."

She assumed it had something to do with Toshii and let it rest.

The man that had walked in was now standing next to them. He had introduced himself as Eltore. To Rei. Then gone on talking as if she hadn't been standing right there. Oh well. Since he was so willing to politely question Rei in front of her, she would be just as kind and stand there, politely eavesdropping.

Will slowly walked up the stairs. He had to Talk to Rei.

The book, "Black Nova's and the Light Within", was under his arm, even though it was a cursed book to Will.

He nodded at the woman. "I see. It is not unlike Fang to have done this. My apologies for my colleague's actions. My apologies for interrupting your conversation, as well. I have but one more thing to ask. What is your name, signora?"
Eltore presented a rose to both women, a sign of courtesy and apology where he is from.

[ Dwyrin, Will, Eltore, Rei ]

Rei squinted ever so slightly as Eltore spoke, then handed her the rose. "Foreigner, but from where?"

"Rei Kimura," she answered, accepting the rose and leaning to one side, the hand holding the flower in her lap. She glanced at Dwyrin, wondering what she thought of the man, then looked back at Eltore. "That seems to be a silly waste of 'one more thing to ask'," she said, smiling crookedly at the man.

Dwyrin took the rose uncertainly. I have nowhere to put this... She wondered who this 'Fang' person was, but she was rather interested to know. Even if he only wanted to ask one more question, perhaps - with a little nudging - he would stay and chat with them a bit.

Will entered the room, seeing the activity in the room.

"Um..... Rei...? I need to talk to you....."

Kinai was still stiting at the table sorta in a trance

[ Dwyrin, Will, Kinai, Eltore, Rei ]

Eltore's eyes were still shadowed by his hood, but there was a smile on his face. He was on the verge of laughing, but as an assassin mentor, he knew laughing was inhibitive. No matter the time.
"A question is a question, is it not?"
As the other man walked into the room, Eltore took notice and nodded at Rei. There were to be no more questions for her. He turned ti the other woman, who seemed intrigued by Fang. "Signora, if you wish to learn of signore Fang Anderos, meet me at the tavern across the street. I will let you know when to arrive. As for now, I must bid you goodbye. My co-workers require me."
((night everyone.))

[ Dwyrin, Will, Kinai, Rei... xD; ]

Rei watched as the hooded man left, rather confused. She shrugged and turned to Will. He seemed upset. "Not surprising from what I've heard."

"What's up, Zergio?" she asked, rising from her chair. She was worried about the boy, but she was unsure whether it would be wise to discuss things with Dwyrin around. "Why not? She's hardly going to care what he's done."

He read my mind, she thought about Eltore, then shook it off, turning her attention outward once more.

Looking at Zergio, she thought he didn't look good. He looked tired. Weary. And he was carrying a very interesting book under his arm. It seemed like everyone here today had something going on worth paying attention to. Even Kinai, who had entered almost unnoticed, was sitting there staring into nothing. Which was more than a little unsettling.

Will didn't want anyone else to know what happened.

"I'll tell you upstairs......"

Will walked by everyone and went upstairs.

Kinai still sat there waiting for the room to thin out slightly "What am I going to do" He says in a low voice to himself

Rei nodded and followed Will upstairs, smiling apologetically at Dwyrin. "I'll be back down in a few minutes. You know your way around enough by now, I think, to find anything you'd want?"

"So I do," she answered, smiling slightly. She had met Zergio before, in an abandoned outpost or some such place and he seemed just as stand-offish and rigid, that time. She had a plan and could only hope no one would ruin it. Rei probably wouldn't. Kinai might, but hopefully not. She had her mind made up before Rei walked away.

Will looked Rei right in the eyes as he told her this.

"I was ordered to be executed by the military, and was captured. My crime was being the Grandson of the person who wrote the book "Black Nova's and the Light Within". Jonathan Hawthrone."

Will took a deep breath.

"This book is special because it contains deadly alchemy only those of a certain bloodline can use, and those of the Hawthornes can read. My Grandparents, Sally and Johnathan Hawthorne, used it to end a war. However, the attack killed military soldiers, even though it ended the war. When they gave birth to Mako, the blood and Hawthorne mixed, so he could use it and read it. He protected his family with it, accidently killing innocents....."

Will looked down.

"They never paid for their so called crimes, so the military is using it as a excuse to kill me, the last Hawthorne. Im still being hunted......."

Kinai was still of in thought about his new raid he was preparing for not saying anything to the girl "..."

Rei leaned leaned against the wall as she listened to Will tell his tale. She crossed her arms and braced one foot against the wall, watching him closely. "This boy's story just got much more interesting," she thought as he finished. She nodded, examining something to the left of her as she thought.

"So you left here to protect Tosh and I from getting caught up in the matter, I suppose," she said, more to herself than to Will. She looked back at Will, red eyes holding his green. "You need something from me," she stated, trying to read the boy. "You would have simply let the matter be otherwise."

Dwyrin was shocked. The second she had heard the upstairs door close, she followed and now crouched outside it on the stairs, listening. He had told her the name 'Zergio' before and caught her curiosity. Now she knew it was a bogus name.

Will Hawthorne. Ah, Zergio, you seem like so much less.
She considered feeling guilty about listening to this private matter, but quickly threw that notion aside. This could be valuable information.

Will got up and looked at Rei, astonished with what she said.

"I wanted you to know why I went away! I don't need anything...."

Will then looked away.

"I just thought you would rather know why I went then think I just disappeared......."

Will then looked at Rei.

"However, I have been itching to ask a question....."

Will shoved the book he mentioned into her face.

"This book was made by my grandfather, and only I can read it now. How did you get your hands on this book? I know my father used it at least once, so why did I find it in here?"

[I think we should skip Kinai. We can say he spaced out, and I think he's done for today]

[ I was just considering skipping him. I've had my post written for forever but he's not posting... ]

"Need something, want to know something. Hardly a difference," she said, waving a hand in front of her face. She walked over to the window and, using the small table beneath it to help her up, climbed onto the window sill. It was wide enough for her to sit on it, looking out the window to her right, Will at her left. She stared hard out the window before answering.

"A man sold it to me back when I first started the store," she said without looking at him. "It was one of the first books I got, in fact. He sold me several other books with it, some relating to alchemy, some not. I never really intended to sell that book, honestly, but I could hardly stop you, I suppose." She looked back at him, a sad look on her face. "I should have kept it from you, I suppose."

(yea sorry i should have said to skip me. you guys had your concersation and my char was alone so i was like **** it haha and i was working on a diff thread in ishval)
