Underground Facility

Keixth stared at the person infront of him still blurry. .
then it was. . zane. .

"oh did i. . then that serves them right." Keixth stood up and began fixing himself.

He sighed but smiled either way. "Yeah, I guess so," he patted the guy's shoulder and stood up. He offered a hand to help him up.

"I have a proposition to make, Keixth."

Keixth took zane's hand. .

"pft. . . . so what's this "proposition all about" Keixth said. .

Zane helped him up and smiled at him, crossing his arms.

"I'm an information broker," he started. "I have yet to fail a request the military asks of me. Infiltration missions, spy missions... and even search missions," he finished, emphasizing the end, hoping the kid understood his implications. He didn't want to say flat out that he was willing to help him find his father.

"and? you dragged me into this mess just so you can finish your mission?" keixth stated. . .

"My work is confidential," he said coolly. "But that's not what I meant, royalty kid."

He sighed. He must've hit him too hard. "What I'm trying to say is that I can help you find your father."

"and with exchange is some kind of hefty sum of money? no thanks. . I always prefer doing things manually" keixth said

still irritated by zane's way of using people.

"No," he replied. "You're already paid. Your... cooperation today is payment enough."

He smiled, seeing the irritated look at the kid's face. Such naivety. Nice to see some still have morals. But he's in the military; only time will tell when he'll lose them all.

" hmm. . that sounds like a good deal" keixth said. .

"but. . dont ever do a thing like this ever again" Keixth said threateningly.

and glared at zane.

"and so we have a deal then"

"Auctioning you off?" Zane waved him off. "To be honest, I wouldn't really get much off of you. You're the 89th in line. If I really want to make money, I'll go for the - let's say - crowned prince."

He smiled again at the kid's glare. "It's a deal. I'll tell you if I find intel on your dad." He gave a lazy salute. "Is your dad of royalty too or what?"

"you do know they haven't announced who's the crowned prince yet. . so auctioning me off. . is a big gamble. . " Keixth said.

"yeah my dad's royalty. . . " keixth said. . "basically i'm only half royalty. . though my granpa wants me to be a candidate".

"just tell me if you have some info on my dad while you still haven't i'll go searching for him my own way" keixth said

"Yeah, I know," he said. "But gaining information on who's the best potential to be the candidate to be the crowned prince isn't that hard." I wouldn't act without a purpose and I only risk things when I have no choice. Auctioning you off isn't going to really get me an advantage.

"Yeah, no problem with that," and he headed to the door. "I never fail."

If his father is royalty, why was he able to disappear just like that? Shouldn't security be tough? Aside from, this kid too - they allowed him to be a state alchemist just like that. Hmm... could it be possible this kid is a runaway?

"sure then, now can we get out of this place? it creeps me out" Keixth said.

Following zane. . because he's the only person who could get out of this place thus his only guide. .

Zane had half a mind to leave him. "Hm."
He decided to just let the kid follow him to the exit; and there, men in suits were waiting. again.

keixth just followed zane and. . .
he saw another of those M.I.B guys. . .

"Oi, Keixth, did you run away from Xing or something?" he asked, glaring at the men in suits. He really wasn't in the mood for them/

[ well then now what do u want me to call them? A.M.I.B]

"uhmm. . no not really. . i think?" Keixth said.

[A.M.I.B?]

"Then why would they let someone of royal blood out just like that? And become a state alchemist, no less," he said and took out his dagger.

[ annoying men in black. . sorry bad pun.. i know bear with it. . this time. . ]

"oh uhm. . i have freedom. . i guess?" Keixth said as he prepared for another round of fight.

[you're not completely sober. haha]

"You mean Xing's that lax with their monarchy? Letting candidates - even if you are the 89th in line, anyway." He stabbed one man, taking his time.

[ i am too sober. . . i only drinked 4 glasses of zombie. .]

"uhh yeah i gueess" keixth said as he shot two men coming at the side.

[sure. ]

"How irresponsible, but maybe I can take advantage of that," he said, not really minding if Keixth heard it and dodged a bullet aimed at his head by tilting his body sideways slightly. He sliced the man's neck when he came too near Zane.

[.. . . . . . i can not comment on that. . but i;m still not drunk.2!]

keixth thought he heard zane say something but shrugged it off. .

Zane kicked the last of those guys in suits and walked over the bodies. "Hate wasting energy on simpletons," he muttered. "Oi, royalty kid, so tell me more about your father. Description, background - it's better to search for someone with a head's up."

He looked around the place. . seems deserted already.
" hmm. . my father? he looks like me but only err older.
He has dark brown eyes. long silver hair thats in a low ponytail. he has a goatee if i remember. He has a big appetite." keixth said. .
:uhh is that enough?"
