Abandonned Mines

Will slowly opened his eyes.

"5 more minutes mom......."

Tosh wandered around in th maze of the mines, looking for Will. Not only was she worried about him but she needed to tell him something and give him something. Hearing voices, she rushed towards them and saw Resha and Will creeping over and taking out random object, Tosh said "No! No five minutes for you!" Tosh said smacking Will in the face with a frying pan.

Will woke up, head throbbing as he looked around, no one but Resha in the room.

"It must of been a dream."

Tosh jumped onto Will, wearing her panda costume. "If only I was Freddy Couger! Then that would have been awesome~" Tosh chimed. "Hey Gio and Resha! Fancy meeting you two here!"

Will's face was plowed into the ground as Tosh jumped on him, unable to speak.

Tosh got up, dusting herself off and picks up Will.

[gonna wait for Resha. she's part of this too]

She blinked away and smiled at the sight of Tosh! "Uwah! HI! What be you doing?? xD"

She turned to Zergio and smiled just as brightly. "Goooood mooooooorniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing! Teehee."

Will looked around and saw Tosh was gone.

"Probably on another adventu-"

Will then fell over when he heard Resha talk to him in such a way. Kinda surprised him, because hardly anyone talked to him like that. He got back up and said he lost balance, blushing a little.

She smiled again. "What happened, Zergio?" she asked and stood up from the bed, dusting herself. "Did you help me? You must've! Thank you sooo much!" and she bowed in gratitude. "You're so nice!"

"I-I couldn't leave you alone with those crystals" Will said.

"P-plus, you seemed tired, so I carried you here. Im sure you woulda done the same"

She blinked, remembering about the crystals. Thumping on her hand with her fist, she looked at Zergio. "OH! About the crystals! What was up with those??"

She looked genuinely confused. She smiled. "But you're right! I probably would've dragged you because I'm not that strong, but," she looked at him with sincere gratitude. "Thank you so much."

Will looked away, blushing. He's never blushed before. it felt weird.

"Y-your welcome.

And im not sure about the crystals. Probably a crystal filled with energy that absorbs energy, almost like the energy of a black nova."

When he looked away, she walked happily to where he was looking and stared at him with a smile and did a peace sign.

"Teehee. Oh! I see, but what's a black nova? :O"

Will fell over again. What about her made him so shy?

Will then laughed.

"Ha, I guess this is kinda the first time I've dealt with such a girl." Will said to himself.

"A black Nova is just a Nova. However, it drains energy on contact, instead of destroying things. Its counterpart, a white Nova, gives energy to the surroundings. Only certain people can use them."

When he fell over, Resha helped him up, asking if he was okay. "Don't strain yourself, okies?"

He heard him murmur to himself but smiled, unable to hear.

"I see! Can you use white Nova, Zergie?" She clasped her mouth. "I mean Zergio, sorry!" she laughed apologetically.

"Zergie's fine" Will said, flustered.

"I don't know." Will replied. He knew he could do both Nova's, easily, but it was best he didn't go and tell too many people that. In fact, he told no one that. He just had to fake the scene in the bookstore in order to keep it a secret.

"S-so, what are we gonna do....?" Will said, face beat red.

"Yay!" she took his hands and swung them and smiled. "Thank you!"
She then let go and thought to herself. "Oh, okay. I just thought you might've since you seem to know a lot about it."

She smiled again, really happy for some reason. "But I'm not so sure what to do next... honestly."

Will quickly retracted his hands after she let go of them. Her hands were soft.

"I just have a book on it is all. I accidently stumbled upon the White and Black Novas."

Will thought of what to do, when suddenly, a frog jumped on his head. Will plucked it off and looked at it. The poor thing seemed dehydrated.

Resha grinned at him. "Oh! Okay~ That's so cool! I only have medical books! Teehee."

Resha watched the frog jump on Zergio's head. O.O She stared... then it registered. "OH! OMNOM!!!" She quickly grabbed the frog from Zergio and petted it. "This... is mine," she admitted and hugged the amphibian.

Will went and poured water over Omnom, since its poor skin was dry. When his leather skin was empty, he manipulated the water back into the pouch with alchemy, clean. Will then went and patted Omnom.

"No need to be ashamed ^^ Lots of girls like frogs. Theres still lots who scream and say ewwww and all that, but a frog can be a good pet ^^"

Resha's eyes brightened at what Zergio said. "Uwah! You appreciate Omnom!" she laughed, very happy. "That's sooo great! Lotsa people tell me it's weird, but... I love Omnom very much."

She thanked Zergio again for helping out Omnom's dry skin. "You're such a nice person~ Really! You've been helping me out so much - even my froggy!" :3

Will smiled.

"Well, I used to have a farm, so I have a appreciation towards animals ^^ Plus, your my friend, and I'd do anything to help a friend."

Her eyes glinted with curiosity and surprise. "A farm?? Really?? WOW! That's sooooo coooooooool! I've always wondered how it is in a farm. But why... used to?" she looked concerned.

"Teehee, but that's so nice to hear. 'I'd do anything for a friend' - I've always thought only my big brother would help me out like that."

Will's eyes darkened.

"My family's farm was burned to the ground..... my mom and dad were killed...... I lived, and made a farm elsewhere........ within a forest...... it was all burned down..... no animals survived........"

Will then put on a bright, happy face and gently held her hand.

"Im sure all your friends would say the same ^^ after all, we gotta watch over each other. Since we're both down here, one can help the other, while Omnom croaks us on ^^"

Will looked around the room and thought on something.

"So, how will we get out of here?"
