Flower Park

She looked at Zane, curiously. "That's not very specific," she half-mumbled. It could be anyone, so she decided not to push the matter. How was his personal life any of her business?? She frowned and turned to look down the wall of flowers.

He patted her head. "She's my little sister," he said, laughing at Dwyrin's expression. "But you can keep that a secret, yes?"

Her eye twitched at the head-pat, but she quickly composed herself. "Keeping secrets is my specialty."

"Relieved, Dwy?" he teased, grinning. After ruffling her hair, he gave her the blue flower he picked a little earlier.

"Does it seem that way??" She took the flower and spun it between her fingers, not sure what to do with it. With a tiny burst of inspiration she stuck it in the mass of red hair clipped at the back of her head.

After a moment of letting her thoughts wander pleasantly, she started walking again and quickly changed the subject. "Does she know you're here??"

"It would be nice to think so," he said and watched her put on the flower. "It fits you."

Zane followed her again, trailing not so far behind her. "Ah, she now knows that I am not very far from her. But, I don't intend to see her anytime soon."

"Oh??" she said grinning - and perhaps turning a nice shade of red. "Well, maybe."

Well that's interesting... "I wonder if there's a reason for that."

"Blushing suits you too," he smiled, rather honest about it.

"Well, of course," he laughed. "Can't say what it is though. So what about you? Any family or something here?"

Dwyrin furiously tried to will her skin back to it's normal color.

"Can't say, huh??" After a second she replied, "I have no one here." She realized that wasn't quite right. She had Ace and Rei - but they weren't actually family. She could count on a handful of the resistance, but she wasn't sure that counted either. "But that's to be expected, I suppose."

She turned her face to the sky and noticed the sun had moved a good deal. She had been here longer than she meant to be. "Well," she said, looking to Zane once more, "I'm afraid I have to go for now. But something tells me I'll see you again."

He smiled at her, and waved good bye as she left and thought for a while all she said. The next time he sees her, he'll make sure she tells something about herself more. "You'll definitely see me again."

Perhaps he needed to leave too. This place was frequented by her, after all.

Tosh wandered the flower park, picking flowers and making a bouquet for Kotaro. She smiled at a pink one.

Kotaro walked into the park, stopping at where he had found Tosh injured. He was wearing a hood to hide his face. The ground still showed tones of red. “It could have ended. For both of us.” Kotaro layed down in the field. He didn't know what drew him here, but it seemed like the right place to go.

Tosh sat in the middle of a few flower beds, one of orange lilies, one of blue pansies, and another of a lavender flower. Alone. She felt alone, only the flowers keeping her company.

Kotaro got up from the floor. His hood fell off. Kotaro began to walk through the park, just trying to clear his mind. I can't take this. Everyone I know has gotten hurt because of me. Kotaro stopped walking. Yet they still help me. Kotaro smiled. It only makes sense I stay around to help them.

Tosh looked up to the sky, wind blowing by and sweeping through her hair. SHe smiled, feeling at peace. She stood up still staring at the sky.

Kotaro began to leave the park. He looked one more time at the spot he found Tosh. "See you some other time Tosh. Hopefully soon." As Kotaro headed toward the gate, he noticed someone else was in the park. He looked closer, hoping to make out the figures face. Can't see. Kotaro began to move closer.

Tosh started hearing faint footsteps, looking around the park she spotted someone but couldn't make them out. She squinted her eyes before walking closer as well.

Kotaro saw he had been noticed. The figure started approaching him. Kotaro put the hood back on. He put the cowl over his eyes to hide his face.

Tosh kept walking towards the now hooded man, tilting her head at him. "Um, Hello?" she greeted him a bit curious and confused.

Kotaro stiffened. "Umm Hello." Kotaro said awkwardly. His feet began to shuffle. Figures. I ask to see her soon, and she's right here. Kotaro removed his hood. "Hey Tosh."

Tosh's eyes widens as she threw her hands around his neck, hugging him closely. "Kotaro!"

Kotaro hugs her back. "Nice to see you too Tosh." Kotaro smiles. "Sorry about earlier, at Zero's store.

Tosh smiled back, tears welling up. "Its okay...~" she said grinning and hugs him again. "Just don't go please..." she asked softly.

Kotaro smiled wiping the tears from her eyes. "Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere Tosh." he looked into her eyes. "You don't need to worry."

Tosh smiled warmly, relieved and happy. She sat down, tugging Kotaro down as well.
