The Park

"I am?? Thats cools!" Emi laughed and continued to stroke Kira. "Do you like being happy??"

“Everyone wants to be happy.” Kotaro shook his head. “Just not that easy.”

"Haha, oh yeah!" Emi gave a puzzled look. "It isn't?? I thought you could always be happy if you wanted to, it just depends on how you look at things."

Kotaro thought for a moment. His life was either nearly dying, being shot at, being chased, a wanted man, and his friends dying. “Not many ways to look at my life.”

"Really? Awwws! That doesn't make it very fair, mhm!" She glanced around the park taking in all the scenery.

Kotaro also looked at the park. It was quite an amazing place. Smooth green grass, a tree here and there, a bird bath. “I guess if the world looked like this it would be something to smile about.”

Emi got up from the bench and ran to a random space in the park before spinning wildly around with no intention of stopping. "Yeps! But if you know where to look here could be anywhere, yays!"

Kotaro contemplated on what she said. It was true, even the darkest of places had a light spot. “I guess your right.” Kotaro watched as Emi spun.

Kira had ran at the bird bath and was trying to climb it.

"Yesh! Yippeee!" Emi continued spinning until she became dizzy then let herself fall back onto the ground. "Hey, Kira shouldn't really do that, should she?? She might hurt some birds, mhm!"

Kotaro went to Kira and picked her up. “If your hungry I'll go get you some food.” Kotaro turned back to Emi. “She usualy goes hunting in a forest when hungry.”

Emi looked up at Kotaro. "Ohhh, really?? That is kinda cool. Hehe! But hunger is a problem that must be solved, yesh!"

Kotaro smiled. “Kira, hold on.” Kotaro reached into his bag and pulled out a steak wrapped in foil. He then took out a green piece of paper and placed the steak on it. He placed his hand on the paper, a transmutation cooked the steak. Kira ran to it and greedily ate it.

"Awwws, cute! She likes steak!" Emi sat on the ground and watched quietly as Kira ate.

“She is a chimera after all.” Kotaro packed up his stuff into his bag. As he withdrew his hand he felt something sting him. “What the...?” Kotaro took out an arrow that had been stuffed in his bag, a message tied to it.

"Oh yeah! She is!" Emi pulled herself up from the ground. "You alright?" She asked when she heard Kotaro.

Kotaro took the message off the arrow and unfolded it:

I know what you are B-15. I know you seek answers. If you want to know more, then come to Aerugo. There is a map on the back of this message.

“Yeah, I'm fine.” He said standing up. “Emi, I gotta go somewhere.” Kotaro looked at Kira. “Wonder what you'll do.”

"Ohh, thats good!" Emi took notice of the message Kotaro had. "Hmm, what is that?? Oh, right, m'kies!" She answered when Kotaro prepared to leave.

As Kotaro turned to leave, Kira transformed and ran beside him. “You sure Kira?” Kira seemed to nod. Kotaro climbed on top of her and waved to Emi. “See sometime later Emi. Hopefully soon.” Kira began to run off, carrying Kotaro on her back.

"Yeah, byes!" Emi waved frantically at Kotaro and Kira before turning in the other direction and leaving the park herself.

Maria walked into the park after a long time of thinking. She sat down and leaned back on the park bench. She sighed and let her head go back till it was upside down.

Dante walked into the park, his head completely full of things he wanted to figure out and forget. He leaned against a tree and closed his eyes, trying to sort through the multiple thoughts.

Amelia was sleeping behinde one of the big trees in the park. One of the branches were hanging over her, like a big ceiling of green leaves. A small ray of light hit her face and she opened her eyes. "uhmmmn..." She sat up and rubbed her eyes softly.

Maria heard someone make a sound and lifted her head to look for who made it. She eventually saw someone waking up from sleeping on a large tree. Maria got up and went over to that person.

"hello"

Dante opened one eye as he saw there were two others in the park. One was in a large tree, the other approaching said tree. He could make them out as females but nothing more. He shrugged and decided to wait for something to happen.

Amelia stopped rubbing her eyes and looked down on the girl who said hello. she blinked and let a small smile appear on her lips."hello there." She tilted her head to the side."who are you? "
