He clenches his fist as his angers grows "How can yo usay that? The military started this chaos and destruction. The Resistance was the only people who cared for me, they are my only family. They are not corrupt like this world!"

Kotaro stood up, his anger growing. “And whar wiil they do once they take over the damn government? You think they will give everyone money? Fix everyones house? I have seen resistances, it always ends the same. They become just as bad as their predecesors after they taste power.” Kotaro tried to calm himself down. “I am not saying to leave the resistance, just that I want to help, but wont join.”

Will came back downstairs, having forgot who was downstairs. He smiled.

"No one ever said about you joining the resistance or me" He exclaims "The resistance have in mind to turn the nations into a democracy before anyone else gains power and gets power hungry" He says as he gets into Kotaro's face and not noticing will

Kotaro holds his ground. “Do you think a democrasy matters? that it isnt corrupt as well? You may end a one ruler nation, but you wont destroy chaos or corruption.” Kotaro closed is eyes tight in frustration. “A democrasy may in fact worsen these peoples lives. Where are you going to get the money to pay for the damages? And the council, do you think they will agree?” Kotaro looked at Kinai again “I do agree that the resistance is better than the military, but have you thought for the future?”


A man walks into the store. He has a shaved head, and a scar over his lips.

Will looked around and saw everyone, including the guy who tried to steal the shards. He wasn't worried.

However, the new guy worried him, as Will stared at him with his mouth wide open.

Fang noticed the fight was imminent. F*** it. I'm getting out of here before it get's too rough.
With that, he leaned out the window, and back-flipped onto the pavement, landing neatly on his feat.

"You talkKinai barely notices the new comer and tries not to yell and he calms down for the most part to not give rei's sotre a bad rep "You think money is the answer to all? A democracy is better than one ruler, it spreads out powers evenly. People will have more of a sayin their futures"

The stranger walks over to the two people arguing. He taps on the shoulder of the one complaing about money.


“They will have a say, but how much? I already admitted the resistance is better, just not completly thought out.” Kotaro feels someone tap on his shoulder. “Kinai, I mean no direspect, just have the boys up top think about what to do.” Kotaro feels another tap. He turns. As he notices the stranger, his eyes grow wide.

Will quickly went back upstairs.

Kotaro stood motionless. Then a wide grin broke out on his face. “Jake! I thought you were in Isval.” The stranger, now known as Jake, embrased Kotaro in a large bear hug. “Just got back, I heard you hung around here and decided to drop buy.” Jake turned to Kinai and held out his hand. “Jake Menston, nice to meet you.”

Kinai calms down more and he sits to pander still high tensed

Jake turns to Kotaro. “Not much of a talker is he.” Kotaro shook his head. “He's just strung up. So why are you back so soon? I thought you needed to find more Ishvalans?” Jake smiled. “Found a whole band of them. They were hiding in a cave.”

He quickly turns torwards them trying to over hear their conversation Is he rescuing my people or hunting them down? he thought to himself

Kotaro smiled brightly. “How many Jake? Were they fine?” Jake held up his hand to stop the flow of questions. “750 Healthy Isbalans. My settlement is growing. Soon we can rebuild Ishbal to its former glory.” Jake frowned. “The only problem is I need more space. The settlement has nearly reached its limit.” Kotaro smiled. “Well get that later, you just rescued over 4000 Isbalans Jake! You are a saint!”

"Where are they?" Kinai states "Where are my people?"

Jake turned to Kinai. “Your Ishbalan?” Jake started to chuckle. “They just keep popping up. Dont worry son, I run a settlement deep in Ishbal. I could take you there on my next pass.” Kotaro stepped up. “I'll go too, I need to check on Ferrah.”

He gets infuriated as he grabs the man known as Jake" I appreciate you helping them but you set them up for death. There is a military in the heart of Ishval." He states with hate in his eyes "Don't you think the military will notice that many people gathering?"

Jake didnt get scared, surprised or mad. In fact, he laughed. “Dont worry boy, the Ishbalans are defended by the resistance. They have at least 100 men guarding the place, not to mention the location of the settlement. Its in a cave where the sun lets in. There are crops, windmills, its a paradise.” Kotaro stepped forward and put his hand on Kinrai's shoulder. “The resistance never told you, did they?”

He lets go "A paradise you say? My people are hidden in a cave fearing from the military, and you say it is a paradise?" He starts to get irritated and doesn't answer kotaro's question

Kotaro grabs Kinai and yanks him away from Jake. “Kinai, you apparently dont get it. Yes, maybe it was an overstatement calling it a paradise, but your people are alive. Jake is risking his life to save them. They are safe, and rebuilding.” Kotaro unhanded Kinai. “They are alive and healthy, the one thing thats bugging me is why the rsistance never told you. Arent you confused about that at all?”

As soon as kataro grabs him he pulls a dagger out and holds it to his stomach "Don't ever grab me. and why does it matter?"

Kotaro is unfazed by the dagger. “Think about it. You, an Ishbalan, bent on revenge for the destruction of your race, is kept in the dark about the rebuilding of youur people.” Kotaro points at himself. “They told me, and im not resistance, why not tell you? WHY!”

He shoves kotaro back a few feet "Just shut up!" He exclaims

Kotaro keeps on him. “Why not tell you Kinai? Why not tell you Ishbal is being rebuilt?” Kotaro could tell Kinai was confused, just didnt want it to be true. “They told me, a mercenary they KNEW helped the military at times. Why not you Kinai?” Kotaro pointed at him. “Because if you thought your people were gone, they could use you, get you to do whatever they wanted just by blaming the military!”
