Eastern Plains

"Wow, you're not running away from me anymore!" she said, happily and sat beside him. "How are you, big brother? Care to tell me what you have been doing since you left?"

"Best to make most of the while I can see you," he said. "I'm an information broker, Resh. I leave a lot."

He relaxed, unfazed by her question. "A lot. Work. Here. There."

"Oh," she grinned. "Still, big brother, why did you leave? And why couldn't you see me then? I've tried so hard but I can't stop myself from asking. It's not that I hate you for it. I just want to know."

"I know," he looked at her. "However, now's not the time to tell you."

He messed his hair a bit before leaning back at the tree. "In due time, Resha. So be patient, all right?"

"You're always so cryptic," she said in response but smiled. She had faith in him and she trusts him.

"Okay. I'll be patient. I'm not sure if I'm going to be very good at it though, okies?"

"That I am," he said, tired for some reason. "I know. I've been keeping track of all the troubles you've been getting yourself into."

"HEY!" she glared at him. "I! do not-- well, maybe a little! NO! I mean no!" she hit him lightly.

"Big brother..." she said after a momentarily pause.

"Hm?" he looked at her, wondering why she suddenly became sort of serious.

"I... I..." she paused for a while and took a deep breath. "I want ice cream!!!!!!"

Zane blinked. "...seriously," he shook his head then stood up. "Well, I have things I need to work on first. Let's meet afterwards for your ice cream.

Emi looked around her as she walked through the plains, humming a tune as she went. After all the travelling she had been doing recently she was beginning to get tired and decided now would be the best time to stop and rest. "Hmm, maybe here would be alright. Hehe!" Emi the fell down to the ground and sat happily in the grass.

Days. It had been days since she had seen human life. This was starting to get boring, if one was honest enough to admit it. The sense of adventure was long past. That was perhaps why Dwyrin was glad to see signs of humanity in this far off place. She slowly crept up to the place she had seen someone drop, then realized she knew this woman.

"You," she said tromping out of the long grass. "Funny seeing you here."

Emi looked round when she heard a voice, she was surprised yet happy to see Dwyrin. "Ohh, heys!" She jumped up from where she was sitting and began to jump around. "Funny seeing yous too, but it is also good! Yays!"

Dwyrin watched the exciteable girl with amusement and couldn't help but smile.
"Good, huh?? Could be." She sighed and looked around. "It's been a while. What are you doing so far out here??"

"Yesh, it is, yays!" Emi paused for a moment to think about what Dwyrin had asked before continuing to bounce on the spot. "I came here to rest for a while me thinks, yeps! How about yous, what is yous doing out here??"

"You came all the way out to the middle of the plains to rest??" she asked with a raised eyebrow. Shrugging her shoulders, she let the matter drop.

Dwyrin grinned sheepishly, "Truth is, I, uh...got a little lost. So I've been wandering around aimlessly for a couple days. I was thinking about a bit of a vacation, but..." she plopped down on the grass, "Now I just want to find somewhere with food."

Emi stopped jumping and shook her head. "Hehe, no. Me came out to the plains because me wanted to go exploring, then me decided here would be a good place to rest. Yeps!"

"Awwws nos! Being lost isn't too good! A vacation is good though because it is fun, yay!" Emi spun around and then smiled at Dwyrin as she fell onto the grass. "Food is yummies, I wonder if there is somewhere around here where yous could get some, hmmm?"

Kinai was heading from the East heading to central when he noticed two figures in the distance. He walked as he had on a black robe which covered his entire body including hiding his arms and feet. He had the hood raised as well to shade his eyes from the sun on his trip.

As he got closer to the figures he could tell it was two girls that looked rather familiar. It took him a second but he remembered seeing them with some other resistance members in the past. Its good to see other resistance after such a time When he got close enough to speak he asks "If I may ask what is two girls doing way out here?"

"That makes much more sense. It is a good place to rest and all. Good thing the weather is nice." A good place to get food in the midde of a plain, though??

Dwyrin started at the sudden intrusion and spun around to see someone she recognized. Last time she had seen him had been during a sparring match. His name was... "Kinai?? I should ask you the same thing."

"Mhm. It is, very!" Emi clapped her hands and looked around as she began to think about where they could get some food. When Emi heard Kinai she turned to face him and waved wildly. "Heyys!"

"hey" he said to emi as he turned his attentiion to dwyrin "I have some businees in central" he paused for a moment before continuing "I am suprised to see you both out here together, I hope you both remain loyal" he said refering to the resistance

Dwyrin let out a small contemptuous laugh. "It's hard to side with people that are trying to kill you, don't you think?? I can't speak for Emi, but I still hold no particular love for the boys in blue." She didn't need to ask the same of him, what he had said was enough of an indicator of his loyalties.

Emi nodded. "Me agrees with Dwyrin, mhm! They is doing not good stuffs so they is bad!" Her expression became serious for a moment due to the specific topic but she soon got distracted by the clouds above and giggled at all the different shapes she could see.

"Well thats good to hear" He said as he nods his head in agreement "in fact that is why I am heading to central but since we are all here how about a test of skill" He went on "Hopefully you guys know the military is ever evolving and growing in strength so we need to keep our skills the best as possible to even have a chance"

(sorry about late posting. I keep on forgeting about it but how recent do you guys reply on here?)

"Of course," Dwyrin agreed, standing up once more. "We need to stay sharp to stay alive. What kind of test did you have in mind??"

{Eh, I try to check at least once a day, but sometimes I end up skipping a day, so no worries here}
