Drachma Sky Prison

When Tosh approached the man, putting a hand on his shoulder, he instantly crumbled and reduced to dust, his clothes lying under the pile. Tosh's eyes simply widened in horror.

Dante stopped as he saw the man crumble into dust. "The hell?" He said.

Tosh stepped back. "What happened to him..?" she asked, still shocked.

Dante stepped forward and touched the man, who was now dust. "Looks like something drained him."

"But.... to a point where he's nothing but dust?" Tosh asked walking up besides Dante.

"All the moisture. Gone." He said rubbing the dust. "Who could do this?"

"Who or what.." Tosh said studying the area. It just occured to her that some dust actually litter the empty streets of the town. She sweated some, biting her lip. "The only clue we have to why this happened is this pile of dust that used to be human..."

"If this happened to everyone in town...." he sighed. "We should get moving. If the thing that did this is still here..."

"Right, we-" Tosh suddenly stopped as she felt a chill down her spine. She slowly turned around, to see if anything was behind the two of them but she saw nothing. She sighed in relief but her mind got reeling.

"Are you alright?" Dante said seeing her nervousness. "Come on, take my hand and lets see what we find."

Tosh nodded, taking her hand into his and squeezing some. "That ominous feeling... why is it so familiar?"

Dante lead her forward, making sure that they strayed from any collapsing buildings. "Are you feeling alright?"

"Just fine, still a bit startled from the guy..." Tosh told him It wouldn't do any good to tell Dante about something she didn't see.

"Alright." Dante said still not convinced. "Try to stay away from the buildings. Don't want to get crushed."

Tosh looked around at the buildings, noticing how decrepit they look. "I never noticed how old they look..." Tosh said. "But this place is so recent, though. I just don't get it."

"I know, its strange." He said stopping as he heard footsteps. "Do you hear that?"

Tosh stopped in tune with Dante. "No, what was it?" she asked, not hearing the footsteps.

"It sounded like someone was over there." He said pointing toward the nearby hotel.

Tosh looked towards the hotel, tilting her head as she noticed that it isn't as old as the other buildings in the city. "Wanna go check it out? If there really is someone around, maybe they'll know what happen!" Tosh said, running to the hotel.

Dante nodded and quickly followed her. "Tosh, careful we don't know whats there." He said as they reached it. He walked inside. "This place looks so new."

Tosh walked inside as well, observing the fine furniture and luxuries about the hotel lobby. "There's no one here..." she said looking towards the check-in stand.

"I swear I heard footsteps." Dante said waling to the check in stand. "Strange. This place is nothing like the other buildings."

"Do you think the person behind this cataclysm is here?" Tosh suggested, looking about the place.

"Maybe, I wonder what could even pull this off." He said seeing no dust on anything. "This place is in perfect condition."

"Too perfect... and too quiet as well." Tosh said opening a door. She saw a long trail of darkness awaiting inside.
