The Festival

Kotaro continued to launch the fireworks into the sky. They blew up into magnificant colors of red, blue, purple and green. Those spices really worked. Kotaro checked his supply of sauce. Just used the last of it. Kotaro waited as Godai fell back to the ground. He collected the pieces, and walked back into the festival.

Tosh stared up at the fireworks in awe for a moment. It ad pleased her then she started walking again, walking into Kotaro.

Resha was pinned down, and it was all so sudden, she wasn't able to avoid it. "Stop playing, Fang and let me up!" She looked sideways and saw Tosh. "TTOOOOOOOOOOOSHH! HELP MEEEEEEEE!" D:

Tosh looked over to where Resha is and runs over to her, pulling her from Fang. "Resha! Long time no see, are you okay?" she asked frantically.

Fang pulled the knives out. "Looks like my aim's off tonight...I wasn't aiming at you, honest."
He grabbed her wrist and pulled her up. "You okay?"

Kotaro looked to see that he had ran into Tosh. "Tosh! Nice to see you again. How are you" Kotaro heard another voice. He turned to see someone pinned to the ground. "What the Hell?!"

"Fine!" Tosh said nodding at Kotaro and dusting Resha off, not noticing Fang.

Kotaro walked over to the girl Tosh helped. "What happened?" He then noticed Fang. "Fang? I didnt take you for one who enjoyed festivals."

Resha hugged Tosh. "TOSH, Thankies!" And turned to Fang. "Is okay! Sorry about that! :< I get nervous easily from time to time," she smiled and looked at the other newcomer. "HI THERE!" she waved, standing up, taking Fang's helping hand.

There were a lot of people and it made her cheery.

Tosh smiled at everyone before looking up at the sky, a small frown coming onto her face.

He nodded, slightly embarrassed. "Well, you need time to think about my offer," he asked Resha.

Kotaro smiled at the girl. "Hello, my names Kotaro, Kotaro Kuya." He turned to see Tosh's sad face. "Whats wrong Tosh?"

Tosh shook her head, looking down.

Resha threw a peace sign at Fang. "I don't mind! Except, I think it's going to be useless - I can't... fight, anyway."

She turned around and hugged Tosh, wondering why she was so sad, and looked at the new guy. "Ola, Kotaro! I'm Resha!"

"Learn the way of the assassin. Then you will not fight. Only kill."
With that, Fang back-flipped back onto the facade and then the second-story ledge. Watching the festival.

Kotaro Watched Fang as he jumped onto the building, then turned to Resha. "Nice to meet you Resha." He turned back to Tosh. "Tosh, whats wrong? Are you OK?"

Tosh shrugs, she doesn't really know. She is sad, but feels different, probably empty. "Meh, It's nothing. and thanks Resha."

When Resha heard what Fang said, she felt really sad. And it showed. She looked up at him. "Fang, I think you misunderstand," she said, her voice quivered a bit. "But I'm a doctor. I want to save lives... not end them."

She bowed a bit and smiled at Kotaro. "It's nice to meet you too."
Finally, she couldn't stop herself. "Tosh, what's the matter? You're usually pretty cheery."

He sighed. In this world...helping people isn't an option for long. I hope she realizes this soon.
He threw a knife in front of Resha. Engraved on the hilt was the clear message. "Seek not with your eyes, nor ears. Search with your heart and you will find me."
Fang did a back-flip and left Central with that. "Goodbye for now, Resha."

Tosh turns away, not wanting to make the mood gloom and doom. "It's nothing, really." She said starting to walk away.

Kotaro glanced at the knife Fang threw, quickly reading the message. Wow, I didnt know Fang went so deep. Kotaro noticed it had landed near Resha. He realized it was for her. He turned to Tosh. "Tosh, you saved my life multiple times, your the closest I have to family, I want to help you with your problems, but I cant unless I know whats wrong." Kotaro put his hand on her shoulder.

Resha took the knife from the ground and read the message on the hilt. As he left, and Tosh too, she sighed to herself. What an eventful day~ but she couldn't deny it was fun.

Still, she couldn't help but stare at the sky and closed her eyes. "That Fang..." she murmured. "He really does misunderstand..."

I've been in the military for so long - I've seen just how much brutal the world can be. I've seen big brother kill without remorse, and so many others. Everyday, I have patients whose wounds are so morbid, how can I not see where the world is turning into?

"But exactly because of that, I want to help save lives."

Kotaro watched as the two women left. What is wrong with Tosh? Kotaro thought for a moment. Resha seems nice, its obvious Fang has a thing for her. Kotaro began to walk away, thinking about his past. I hope Tosh is fine. She is the only one who knows about my life, the only one I could talk to about my life in the military, and what I did in it, and Motaro. Kotaro stopped walking and looked at the floor. Am I a monster? Can I atone for my sins?

Tosh kept rushing through crowds of people, cutting through and alley and running to her house.

Kotaro continued walking through the crowds of people. He suddenly threw a punch at a nearby wall, causing it to crack. Damn it! Why is it I can never help anyone! Even those who help me! Kotaro reached in his bag to take out his photobook. What the... Its gone! I must have left it at Tosh's house when I was making the circle! Kotaro runs through the crowd, hoping no one has found it.
