Toshii's Old House

Kotaro pocketed the device. "Thank you, be safe Fang."

"You too, Kotaro."

Kotaro sat on the couch, and waited for Tosh.

Kotaro began to think. I need a strategy, like it or not, I will have to fight him. Kotaro sighed. The homunculas he had found, and it had been someone he cared about. Kotaro laid on the couch, and fell asleep.

Tosh hurried back into the room, two seeds in her hand and a first aid kit, just in case. She hugged Kotaro when he was awake. "Are you okay!? I'm sorry I wasn't there!"

Kotaro smiled and stood up. "It's all right, It's best you that you werent. I nearly died while spying on the homunculas, and it's only thanks to my Lightning alchemy that I escaped." Kotaro turned serious for a moment. "Tosh, there are three homunculi. If you were there, we wouldnt have made it out alive."

Tosh released him and thought it over. She never have fought a homunculus, much less saw one. Though she has saw the damage it cold do, two times.

"Fang went hunting" Kotaro said. He walked over to the window. "How well do you trust him Tosh. He seems great, but I think he's only intrested in killing things. I asked him to kill the one homunculas I couldnt, and he seemed to happy about it."

Tosh thought it over. She looked at Kotaro with a straight and honest face. "I do trust him. And maybe that's just the way he is, what makes Fang, Fang.

Kotaro smiled. “If you trust him, I trust him.” he paused. “I cant take it Tosh, I know one of the homunculi...” he paused once again, this time, a sad look came accros his face. “...its Slyde.”

Tosh's eyes widens as she gasped.

“Motaro was a more desperate me. He tried to bring him back.” he paused, then turned to Tosh, a mix of anger and sadness was on his face. “Slyde was the one that nearly killed me.”

Tosh pursed her lips, thinking of some sort of solution to all of this.

Kotaro closed his eyes and remembered that moment in Lior when Slyde nearly cut his head off. "I cant kill him, no matter what he does, I cant kill him, not again." Kotaro showed no sadness now, only a deep anger for being unable to stop what he somewhat created.

"Karo..." she said before hugging him tightly.

Kotaro's anger slowly subsided. He hugged Tosh back before standing up. “I'm heading back to the store. I need to check on the circle.” Kotaro opened the door and began to walk to the store.

Tosh nodded.

Tosh ran in and shut the door, resting her back on it, frustrated. She slowly slides down to the floor, hugging her knees to her chest.

Kotaro entered through the back door, slamming it after entering. Where could I have left it? Damn! Kotaro ran into the room he drew the circle in.

Tosh starts to cry softly, silently sobbing.

Kotaro continues to look around, seeking his photobook. Damn it! Kotaro entered the front room and noticed Tosh in front of the door, sobbing. "Tosh? Are you OK? Tosh!"

Tosh continued to sob, blocking out all noise around her.

Kotaro ran to Tosh and put his arms around her. "Tosh! Are you OK? Whats wrong? What happened?" Kotaro had forgotten about his photobook. He only cared about helping Tosh. "Tosh please, tell me, whats wrong? please."

"M-My parents....." she stuttered with her words, a lump in her throat.

Kotaro kept hold of Tosh. "Tosh, its Ok. Its Ok. I know how you feel." Kotaro remembered his family, his mother, father, sister. "Tosh its OK. Look at me Tosh, Look at me."
