Old, Decaying Wargrounds

The man chuckled, blood coming from his mouth. He wore a sadistic smile saying, "She would make an excellent test subject~" he taunted Kotaro, though his words felt honest to him.

Will took notice, and slammed him to the ground, winding him, giving Kotaro a chance to deal with him, rushing over to Tosh.

"Are you ok, Tosh........?"

Kotaro took out Godai, a hateful aura coming from his eyes. “TEST SUBJECT! DO YOU WORK FOR GARSHER!” Kotaroturned Godai into a butcher knife a stuck it in the mans left arm, it stopping halfway through it.

Tosh shook her head some, hearing WIll's voice. "Gio...?" she said a bit weakly. She felt the liquid's effects.

The man's hood fell off, revealing a face similar to Garsher's.

Kotaro's face went in shock. Just as fast it turned to hatred, a hatred so deep Kotaro's appearance and voice seemed to change. “So thats how eh?” Kotaro removed the knife. “Thats how you got her.” In the blink of an eye Kotaro was throwng punch after punch at Garsher's face. “THATS WHEN IT HAPPENED! THIS IS WHERE IT STARTED!” Kotaro's face still held hatred, but a large menacing smile was spreading on his face. “YOUR THE REASON THIS HAPPENED! ALL THE DEATH! ALL THE DESTRUCTION! ITS ALL YOU!” Kotaro lifted him by the neck, sqeezing it. “BUT KNOW I CAN FIX IT! MAKE IT ALL BETTER!” Kotaro took the knife and prepared to slice Garsher's head off.

Tosh's eyes widened as Kotaro brutally pulverizes and attacks Garsher. She is terrified but what he is doing and what he has become. She stumbled up and ran over unsteadily, falling on Kotaro. She started crying clenching onto his arm. "Stop it! Just stop it..!" she weeped.

The knife stopped seconds before reaching Garshers neck. He had blacked out from the pain and fear. Kotaro's eyes widened as he saw what he had done. He dropped Garsher to the floor, letting the knife fall next to him. “I...I...” Kotaro seemed to break down. He fell to his knees tears streaming down his eyes. He seemed unable to see or hear anything around him. He was completly closed off.

Tosh just wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close. She gently kisses him on his lips, to soothe and comfort him.

Kotaro lay there, flat on the ground. He had returned to his old self. He got off the ground and looked at Tosh.“Tosh,what was...Why did you...” Kotaro looked down at Garsher. “I need to et ot of here. I wiill be tempted.”

Tosh just smiled genuinely at Kotaro before falling over unconscious, still weak from the liquid's effects.

Kotaro walked over and picked Tosh up. “I don't know what that was Tosh, but I'm getting you outta here.” Kotaro put her in the passenger seat of the truck. “Zergio, We'll be at the empty building we were at.”

A tear streaked down Tosh's face as she is put in the truck.

Kotaro placed a blanket over Tosh before straping her seatbelt on. "I guess there is still somethings I dont know about you."

Will had ran off alot earlier. The moment Tosh ran to Kotaro, at that. He felt they needed him gone, to not be there. Before he knew it, he was sacked and taken away, out of Tosh or Kotaro's sight. When the sack was taken off, he found himself in front of his grandparents. They requested the other soldiers to leave the room. Sally knelt in front of Will, and looked Will in the eyes.

"You shouldn't be here" Sally said.

"I know, I should be home" Will replied.

"We don't mean /that/" Jonathan said to Will. "We know you, and 3 other people used the book to view this past."

Will's eyes opened wide. They knew him and the others had arrived the moment the book pulled them in.

Kotaro had drove off after not recieving a response from Zergio. He had arrived back at the empty building they had appeared at. He took Tosh out and placed her on the bed in the building. "Rest up Tosh, We're getting out of here soon."

Will shook his head. "We didn't do it on purpose!" Will said, thrashing about. "The book traveled to this area, and when I tried to get it back, it transported us back here!"

Sally sighed. "The same thing happened to Mako, our son, your father. The book, apparently, wants to show all the family to ever inherit this book, the sins of the past. It was after he used the alchemy. After that, he never used it again, ashamed of what it did here."

Jonathan spoke up. "Do be aware that, although your looking at the past, that its really just a illusion set up by the book. When you return back, anything that happened in here, including death, will be nullified, and anything you changed in here will not actually happen."

"Consider it one of those movies where you choose what happens. Even though it takes you to different endings, the movie itself never changes." Sally commented.

"We aren't even your real grandparents. Just a memory." Jonathan finished with.

Will thought about what they said. Basically, this was just a memory. Nothing more.

Kotaro walked outside for a while. Where is Zergio? Kotaro walked around the building for a while. And what was that? Tosh kissed me? Kotaro shook his head. It had to be an illusion of some kind. A weird one, but still. Kotaro walked back in the building. He glanced at Tosh. Now that he thought about it, there was some type of bond between them. Something that had clicked after she saved his life. He glanced at her again, then shook his head. An illusion, nothing else. He kept thinking.

Tosh stirred some, moaning a bit with pain. She slowly opened her eyes, looking around at the building.

Kotaro stopped pacing and saw Tosh wake up. “Feeling better?” He walked up to her, holding out his hand to help her stand.

Tosh tried getting up but ended up falling back into the bed, weak. She turned her head away a bit sad. "Sorry...."

“Sorry for what?” Kotaro sat next to her. “If theres anyone who should be sorry its me. I should have stopped the truck sooner.” He put a hand on her shoulder. “So even if its late, I am sorry.” He smiled at her.

Tosh smiled back at him, before thinking about something. She started blushing.

Kotaro noticed Tosh turn red. “Tosh, you ok? Is the liquid still making you feel sick?” He put his hand on her head.

"Well...." Tosh said shifting some. "I'm not sick....just...embarrassed.." she said shyly.

Kotaro thought for a bit before realization dawned on him. So it did happen. It wasn't an illusion. Kotaro shuffled as well.“Oh. I see.” He blushed a bit as well.
