Chimera Nest

Will was running out of energy. "How far is that thing freeken going........?" Will asked himself. He was ready to collapse, when he saw it enter a cave. Will entered it, and quickly started to fall. The cave seemed to lead to a hole. Will landed on his casted arm, causing him to yell out in pain, which echoed throughout the cave. His yell was greeted by a group of growling. Will was rubbing his arm, hoping the pain would subside, as a bunch of chimera's started to surround him. One easily shattered the bone in his arm. He had no chance agenst a group of them, and he hadn't recovered from using the alchemy in the book.

"What do I do........?" Will questioned. He had no way out, and no one knew where he was. He was backed into a corner, and weak. He closed his eyes shut, and touched his left hand to the ground, summoning what energy he had left, and used the alchemy again. The number of Chimera was huge compared to the last amount. He turned the first 10 into flowers before he began to feel weaker. He had no choice. He absorbed the energy from the next 10, the power too much for his body to handle. He quickly released it into the alchemy, turning the rest of the Chimera into plants. Will grinned, seeing all of the chimera dead, about 50 of them. He pulled out his book, seeing that a corner of it was missing.

"Huh?" Will questioned. This book couldn't be destroyed, but part of it was missing? Will then quickly grasped his chest as a sudden burst of pain spreaded throughout his body. Another sudden burst was sent through his body as he saw the book disinergrate from in front of him. 1/4 of the book had disappeared, and continued to disappear as Will fell over from the pain, curling into a ball as he begun to shed tears.

Tosh was gliding over the area when her flute Kotaro gave her fell from her pocket, falling towards the Nest cave. "Oh no!!" She said as she felt the item slip from her pocket. She looked around, barely spotting it, it going towards the cave.

The flute clunked on the ground and rolled inside the cave. "Tosh quickly descended to the ground and runs inside frantic. "Hey come back!" Tosh said running after the flute. The flute stopped when it bumped into Will. Tosh stopped when she saw Will. "Gio!" she said running to his side. She quickly deposited the flute safely and securely. She checked Will's arm. "Gio! Are you okay!?"

Will was unresponsive, pain still sweeping through out his body. Will was crying, and his book was 2/3rds gone.

Tosh held Will up against the wall. She noticed him crying and the book that was slowly disappearing. "What the..." Tosh took the book, opening it. She snapped back to Will. "Hold on Gio!" Tosh took out a green seed, putting it in Will's mouth.

The seed didn't work. When will gained the power of the chimera's, his stomach and liver ripped in half, because it was too much for his body to handle. The seed disappeared within a pool of blood in his body, not taking effect.

Tosh's eyes widened in fear as she didn't see the seed take effect. She took out another, breaking it in half and pours the contents on his tongue. The contents dissolves into his bloodstream, going throughout his body and trying to repair it if it can.

"Come on Gio, you can't die...!" Tosh said, the threat of tears coming along. She didn't know what she would do if she let another friend die again.

The seed spreaded through out his body. The book, which was disappearing at a rapid speed, slowed down in dissolving. Will wasn't saved, yet, but he would survive a little longer then before.

Tosh noticed the book stopped dissolving rapidly and thought of something. She took out 2 more seeds, breaking them and pouring it on his tongue, the contents going into his bloodstream as well.

The book didn't slow down any more. The seed contents meet a dead end. They did all they could.

Tosh picked up Will, hurrying out the cave, carrying the book close. She set him down against the tree and set the book down on a close large rock, watching what it does.

"Please work..." Tosh hoped, letting a tear escape her eye. "Don't you dare die, you gt people waiting for you, and your parents.... they want you to live...."

The book continued to dissolve as life began to leave his eyes. His muttered under his breath...

"Doctor............"

Only 1/4 of the book was left.

Tosh's eyes widens, understanding. She quickly gathered him and the book up, propelling in the air and blows the winds as fast as it can, Tosh cutting through the air in very quick speed as she raced towards the hospital.

[Tosh and Will out]

Will stiffened up as he returned to this forsaken place. He figured there was more then what he saw in this place. With his sword and shield in hand, he slowly climbed down the rocky wall, and into the nest. The flowers had wilted and rotted away.

He slowly advanced into the cave, silent with every step. He reached yet another big hole, but this one had a elevator installed.

"Its not just Chimera in this place" Will said to himself. He took the elevator down, going down deep, deep into the hole. If anyone human would of jumped, they wouldn't have survived without taking heavy damage. Once again, the tunnel went deeper. Will continued on exploring the place.

Zane had work to investigate this so-called chimera's nest. But really, it was just to clean up whatever blunder was left in here.

He was just about to go in when he saw the kid Will, go in and vaguely remembered about him telling a story about this place. Hm, might be useful and he followed him down.

Will continued in deeper, light beginning to shine. He looked down a hole, and saw a long, spiraling staircase in the stone. He slowly advanced further downward.

He followed Will quietly, some distance behind him; he stopped when the kid went down, however, letting some good distance separate them before he went down as well.

Will stopped partway on the stairwell. At the bottom layed some Chimera, awake, and alert. Will knew this was a sink or swim situation. There was no nearby water to use. He sat down and thought on what to do.

He abruptly stopped when the kid stopped and took a peek as to what made the sudden halt. Ah, a chimera, hm. I suppose this shouldn't be a surprise.

Zane watched Will and saw him sit down, possibly thinking. So, what will this kid do now, hm? After coming all this way.

Will touched his hand to the wall, trying to find water with his alchemy. In turn, about 50 feet away, he found a underground lake. Using his alchemy, he broke the rock walls and unleashed the water into the hole, washing the chimera's away. They were swept away, startled, but now ready to attack. Will jumped down, and used the water to cushion his landing. He then used the alchemy circle on his blade. The water gathered around it and formed a thin, long, but sharp blade.

Tide Ripper was now in existence.

Zane smirked. Water, hm? How convenient. He watched as the kid fight his way. I certainly won't waste unnecessary energy.

"Do your best kid," he murmured to himself. "But don't go dying and end up in the hospital."

Will quickly slaughtered the chimera, even though he had to use his left hand to do so. He continued down, the lights getting brighter, till........

Will walked into a lab.

"Merciless, hm?" he smirked and followed the kid, taking note of how much water there was and not stepping on the chimera bodies littered around.

When the kid walked in, he partly thought if he should too, but decided to let the child do whatever first and see what he could get out of it.

Will walked around, looking at test tubes in the lab. He looked at documents as well, and larger tubes, holding weird looking creatures. The deeper he went, the more he realized what this was, till he said...

"This lab is producing Chimera"

Zane went in the lab, seeing as it was what he was here for.
"Experimentation, hm," he said to himself and browsed the computers, looking for the main one, disregarding for a while the tubes of chimeras the further the laboratory.

But since the main computer was probably deeper in, he sighed and followed Will, seeing him looking at the chimeras on the tube. Probably being held back for future use - by the looks of it, they're all patched up ready to be used at any time they wish to.

Will looked around, and entered a room to his left. He leafed through old documents on experiments in the past, including documents on Human-Chimera expiraments. The documents told how most were failures, and executed on the spot, and how few were successful, and were currently in hibernation, save about.... 4
