Kotaro and Jan

Dante raised an eyebrow. He knew this voice. He took a couple more steps forward, fast so he could at least get a glimpse of her before she backed away. "You sure? I could help you find thing to help with it." He spotted a glimpse of her and stopped, knowing if he got closer he would seem hostile. Resha.....

She was getting nervous. She was really scared. Resha wanted to talk to him casually like before everything went haywire between their friendship.
But she knew that the moment he sees her, he'd get mad and she just wanted to avoid that.

"No, no!" she said, backing away some more. "I'm good! I'll be fine! Just! Let's not risk you getting sick from what I have!"

It was evident in her voice. She was scared. Dante sighed. He had told her next time they saw each other he would kill her. That he would kill them all. A single tear went down his face as he remembered what he said, staining the ground red. "Resha.....I know its you." He said head down.

She sighed. She was found out. What could she do now? But all that really came out of her lips. "Well, are you going to keep true to your word?" she asked and walked forward; there was no use in hiding nor in pretending, hiding the sorrow she felt. She didn't want him feeling guilty for anything.

Dante kept his gaze down. He didn't look at her, just took out Zero and pointed it at her. "You remember what I said. About not having friends?" He kept the gun trained on her, but his hand was shaking.

She looked down. So she was going to die today? Without seeing her brother one last time... without saying sorry to those she had wrong. But she had to see it coming.

She held her arm. "Uhm... yes?" she couldn't look at him. Resha didn't want him to see her sadness.

Dante kept the gun on her for a bit longer then he threw it to the side. "I was wrong." He kept his face down but the red tears could be seen falling. "I'm so stupid not to realize it." He shook his head. "I'm so sorry."

She was rather surprised when he threw the gun away, surprised at his apology. Surprise at how things seemingly becoming bright.

"Oh, Kotaro," she was about to hug him, couldn't help but feeling relieved. But the red tears upon contact on the flowers, suddenly made a bright red light engulf them. And all she knew was she was suffocating. She was hoping he was on the better end.

Dante saw the flowers glow and looked up at Resha, a question already on its way out. "Resha....." He then saw she looked different. Like she wasn't able to breathe. "Resha!"

She didn't want him to worry, so she tried speaking. "I'm... okay," she huffed, but it was hard. She could hardly breathe. What's going on?! Just when things were becoming better!

"Don't lie to me! Whats wrong?" He moved closer to her to see if there was anything he could do. "Please, just let me help you." He placed an arm on her shoulder. "Please."

Hearing him say that changed everything. "Can't... breathe," she huffed, having a hard time and holding on to her throat. "...help me..." she said, her vision becoming blurry and she was becoming lightheaded.

Dante didn't know what to do. "You can't breath?" What was he supposed to do? Do CPR? She was conscious. "Resha, can you give me a suggestion on how to help? I can't think of anything." He said worried. He held her up.

Not CPR, she thought, but she couldn't speak anymore but she thought of the herb in her basket. "...herb," she croaked out, feeling close to passing out and possibly dying - hopefully not.

"Herb?" He looked in the basket and reached for the herb she had picked. "Now what?" He didn't know if she had to eat it or if it had to be applied to a specific area. "Resha, what now?" He asked franticly.

She couldn't speak, she couldn't breathe. She chanted in her head. Boil, boil, boil... the herb in hot water! And panicked herself, how was she supposed to tell him, her eyes was closing, and she was soon feeling as if she was going to pass out.

Dante shook his head. He then remembered what a doctor had done to use a herb. "Boil!" He filled up his old bucket in his bag with water then changed the temperature with alchemy. He then placed it in and shook his head. "Hurry!"

Resha lied on the ground, really trying her best to keep awake. It was rather too difficult, seeing as oxygen was leaving her lungs, and she was turning red, to purple. She would've laughed at her color changing but she didn't have enough energy to.

After the herb had been boiled he panicked. "Now WHAT!?" He took a glass and filled it up with the boiled herb. He left some in the bucket just in case. "Do you have to drink it?"

With much difficulty, she nodded; she had to drink it but she was already seeing stars and unicorns and other mystical beings. She was already counting sheep, but she was trying her best to think straight.

Dante saw the nod and brought the cup to her lips. "Just try to swallow." He poured the herb down her throat. He rubbed her throat gently to help it go down. "Just try and swallow it." He said worried.

As soon as she drank it, she felt better, as if whatever was in the way to her lungs suddenly disappeared and she could breathe.

She took in a big breath of air. "Whaaaaa," she said. "I... feel... so dizzy!"

[brb! lunch! ]

Dante let out a relieved sigh and held her steady. "Are you ok now Resha?" He said, His eyes carried worry and fear. He couldn't let anything happen to her. "I'm sorry for what I said at the cottage." He said looking down.

She grinned. "It's okay," she said. "As long as you're okay now, I'm just glad," and thanked him for the help, impressed at how fast he worked at with helping. Maybe next time asking for help would be easier for her.

"Besides," she said. "I can see the authenticity in your words. I can see it in your eyes and I can hear it in your voice."

Dante looked up at her and and began to cry. "I am so sorry. You were just trying to help. I just thought that every time someone helps me they just end up hurt." He shook his head. "I don't want to be your enemy Resha."
